Post Treatment

If a bone is out of alignment, including a vertebra, the surrounding soft tissue is often the reason. Bones do not move on their own. Bones move due to a so called pulley system of tendons, ligaments, and muscles. By identifying and releasing the tissues responsible for holding a structural imbalance, it is possible for the body to move back in balance- structural harmony.

Scotty’s process works directly with these soft tissues to release long-standing tension, restore mobility, and improve structural balance throughout the body. We do not moves bones hoping the soft tissue follows we begin at the source of the restriction or inhibition and follow the given patterns. There are no high-velocity adjustments. This is not Chiropractic.

Scotty Holding (formerly with Atlasprofilax) developed The Holding Atlas, a unique procedural approach to Atlas/Axis balance that draws on nearly 30 years of hands-on experience in structural bodywork. His background includes Advanced Structural Integration (Rolfing), European Osteopathy, Neuromuscular Therapy, Thai Healing massage, and training with the Atlasprofilax Academy in Switzerland.

Atlas/Axis balance is an essential first step in the The Holding Atlas process - a single treatment can be profound bringing noticeable changes in how a person feels physically, mentally & spiritually.

Scotty Holding trained in the Atlasprofilax method in 2008 and shortly thereafter began combining the principles of Atlasprofilax with decades of hands on experience and a broader understanding of the body’s interconnectedness. Each treatment is individualized, addressing the unique complex underlying patterns each person develops through life’s journeys.
